Widely regarded as one of the finest vocalists ever to emerge from the Texas music scene, Malford Milligan has spent more than four decades captivating audiences with a voice that blends the raw power of gospel, the grit of blues, and the passion of classic Southern soul. An eight-time Austin Music Award winner for Best Vocalist and the former frontman of the acclaimed Texas supergroup Storyville, Milligan has earned comparisons to Otis Redding, Al Green, and James Carr while forging a style that is unmistakably his own.
Throughout his remarkable career, Milligan has performed and recorded alongside some of the biggest names in American roots music, including Eric Johnson, Marcia Ball, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Doyle Bramhall II, Kris Kristofferson, Joe Ely, and many more.
