This Orchestral Cantanta was written specifically for the Songbird Live by Tom's friend Rob Vuono (US NAVY Band) as a Christmas Celebration. Written as a 26 member orchestra, this musical work will feature many of the top string and wind players from around DFW. Dr.John Korak will conduct.

About the event
Rob Vuono composed Winter Solstice as a Christmas celebration in tribute to the Songbird Live Music Venue and his longtime friend Tom Burkett. This 80-minute orchestral piece includes a blend of original compositions and many well-known songs, all presented in fresh new arrangements. The 26-member orchestra is conducted by Dr. John Korak, who is also a longtime friend and musical associate of Burkett.
This work combines familiar Christmas songs with unique, unheard settings.
